From Free Write Friday‘s I have the seed word Freedom
Margo Roby’s Tuesday Tryouts asked my to plant a List poem
And I watered it with my response to my own Wonder Wednesday photo. Enjoy.
Charged with the
constraints of Family
She takes sanctuary in the
elements.
Earth
hold her as she holds her book
now fallen closed.
Air
sets up a conversation
with the wind
She sings that songs
we all knew before we wore born.
Water
pours forth the wise
rhythm of change
ever lapping at Her feet
Fire
burns all obstacles and
frees
Her to become the
moment of
stillness
the whole World
needs.

very clever. thanks for visiting my blog, I truly appreciate it.
I love it, both the list you came up with and the content of the list.
Inspiration sure does help :0 I had been thinking about list poems now I’m ready to take on loop poems. Keep Ideas coming Margo.
Love this. Was just thinking today how you had not done a Wednesday Wonder this week. How did I miss that? Sigh!
and I was wondering why you didn’t do it. I thought it was one you could get behind especially after your nice essay on rest today. I’m just glad you caught up with it. Happy Sunday.
I love how you combined all of the elements and brought them together…awesome poem and beautiful photos…stellar job!

This poem is truly lovely – hope you were refreshed. The winds conversation here was loud and raucous – throwing trees around like toys.
Oh my! Has Colorado been having some storms?
Great work my friend.
Thanks Pal

Lulled, good always happy to oblige. Your prompt knocked me out because I was polishing this up when I read your FWF post. You keep reading my mind don’t you love it when the universe works like that. Oh and thanks Heart back <3
